Pastor Eddy Gervais, Senior Pastor

Known for his infectious smile and disarming personality, this eldest son of Haitian immigrants has been in full time ministry for over twenty years. Pastor Eddy has always been “in the church”, but it was an individual encounter with Jesus at the age of sixteen that sealed his fate and his relationship with God. The then football athlete teamed up with a friend and began witnessing at his high school and has never regretted his choice to seek Jesus since.

Pastor Eddy serves as the Senior Pastor of Community Christian Church in Miami (Little Haiti), Florida. Prior to that he served as youth pastor and worship leader at CCC. He still enjoys sharing the good news of Jesus with young people and the young at heat and credits those years for keeping him feeling young.

In his time as Pastor, he is taking on the vision of creatively sharing God’s Word with Miami and the world. Gifted with an ability to make the Bible relatable and real in one’s life, Pastor Eddy speaks from the heart about Christ’s grace and unfailing love for any and all who choose Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Pastor Eddy is also a noted conference speaker and City of Miami Beach police chaplain. He serves on several boards including Miami Dade County Community Relations Board and the Mission Miami’s leadership team.

Pastor Eddy has been married to his life partner, Delphine, a social worker. She serves alongside him operating in the administrative gifting in church ministry.

He credits his early years with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) as the spring board for seeing the world as God would have us all do—globally. Pastor Eddy holds his Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies from Moody Bible Institute and his Masters of Science in Management from St. Thomas University.

His ultimate goal is to inform, encourage, and empower others with the Word of God; help others to lead fruitful lives and in turn impact the communities in which they live.
